our Staff:

Riviera United Methodist Church was chartered in 1966 and has seen more than 50 years of ministry to the St. Petersburg area and beyond. We are a multi-generational church with a vibrant worship every week in our newly renovated Sanctuary. The campus here on 62nd Avenue is home to a number of ministries including Riviera Day School, Boys & Girls Scouts Troop 261, Al-Anon meetings and more. We are grateful to serve our community through missions programs like partnering with Wesley UMC Food Pantry, the Doug Brown Homeless ministry and more.

Our senior pastor, Rev. Augustus Allen (Pastor Augie) joined us in the summer of 2022. He, his wife and four kids have served in ministry for the past seven years in the Florida Annual Conference and they are excited to join Riviera in this next chapter.
